Mr. Randy Franklin has been a practicing attorney for over 37 years and is the owner of Franklin Law Offices since 1997. Mr. Franklin received his BS from Bradley University in 1967 and went on to Massey University where he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence or Doctor of Law in 1972.

Franklin Law Offices provide full service legal representation and general litigation covering a variety of areas including Family and Matrimonial Law, Civil Litigation for Plaintiffs and Defendants, Real Estate Law, Estate Planning and Criminal Defense Law.

Mr. Franklin is passionate about representing those with Mental Health Issues by protecting their 14th Amendment rights. He is an experienced Illinois Child Representative/Guardian Ad Litem who has repeatedly been appointed by judges within the Circuit Court of Cook County Domestic Relations Division.

Mr. Franklin's professional participations include lecturing at Northeastern Illinois University Center for Science and Cardiovascular Research and University of Illinois, Department of Psychology and Lecture for Life Innovations. He formerly served as a Panelist for Psychiatric and Law Forum at the Institute for Psychoanalysis, as President for the Forensic Forum for Continuing Education and as Chairman of the Mental Health Law Committee.

Mr. Franklin has been certified by the Georgia State Bar (1972), Illinois State Bar (1973), and the Wisconsin State Bar (1983). He has also received his license with the Federal USDC North District of GA (1972) and the Federal USDC North District of IL (1973). He is licensed with the American Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.

Mr. Franklin's community service involvements include serving as a Board Member of the Council for Youth Services (f/k/a Young Men's Jewish Council), Board Member of Little Mexico-Covenant of the Holy Spirit, Board Member of Northeastern Illinois University President's Advisory Board and Business Advisory Board. Mr. Franklin has been married to his wife Penny since 1974 and has 3 adult children.
